 Brazilian Jiu-jitsu is a grappling based martial art, world renowned for being the best way to survive against - and eventually neutralize - a much larger and stronger opponent in hand to hand combat.

 

 This makes it ideal to handle what are - unfortunately - common situations one might encounter.

  

 Our classes focus on fitness and mobility, mastering the manipulation of distance, angles, leverage, and exploiting advantageous bio-mechanical positions which will ultimately render an opponent - or potential assailant - harmless. 

 

 This goal is achieved through diligent practice, the study and understanding of fine technical details, and sparring sessions, where our students become aware of the limits and potential of their physical attributes, when confronted with actual physical resistance and aggressive intention.
